16/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Cultural Centre has just published its programme of conferences, debates and guided tours for 2003-2004. Entitled "Europe, a place to discover", the programme has two phases: 1) The fertile crescent and the cradle of European culture has 15 showings between October and December, spanning the time from the appearance of Homo Sapiens in Europe to the Renaissance; 2) Europe of ancient Rome to the Holy Roman Germanic Empire is also in 15 showings (January to April), with trips to Aix La Chapelle and Tournai (Information and bookings; tel 02/734.06.99, fax 02/736.76.39, e-mail: marine.imberechts@chello.be).
