Council on 2 and 3 October is not expected to adopt a text but to reach political agreement - Council to be held in Brussels

Brussels, 30/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - It is not expected that any decision will be taken by the Justice and Home Affairs Council to be held on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 October in Brussels, but that there will be quite important political agreements (Europol-Russia, parental responsibility) and difficult debates (review procedure for asylum requests and implementation of confiscation orders). The internal affairs chapter will be chaired on Thursday by Minister of the Interior Giuseppe Pisanu....
