5.8 million EUR to raise awareness of European products in third countries

Brussels, 30/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission on Tuesday approved seven information programmes to make third countries aware of the benefits of various European agricultural products. The products in question or wine, fruit and vegetables, cheese, olive oil and ham and the countries targeted are the United States, Canada, Japan, the Middle East, Russia, Australia and Norway. The Community budget will contribute to half of the total budget of 11.6 million EUR in three years...
