French general to command Eurocorps

Brussels, 01/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - French general Jean-Louis Py is to take over from German general Holger Kammerhoff as head of Eurocorps. A take over ceremony will be held in Strasbourg on 4 September. On the same day, the defence ministers of the five nations that form Eurocorps will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of the corps, namely Michèle Alliot-Marie (France), Peter Struck (Germany), André Flahaut (Belgium), Charles Goerens (Luxembourg) and Federico Trillo-Figueroa (Spain).
