French BNP PARIBAS is to launch, with the agreement of the Chinese authorities, a joint venture specialised in asset management in China. BNP PARIBAS will hold 33% of the capital of the company called SW BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT, while its Chinese partner SHENYIN & WANGUO will hold the remaining 67%.
