Brussels, 01/09/2003 (Agence Europe) -"European policies and measures to encourage women's entrepreneurship - opportunities and challenges for Chambers of Commerce and Industry" is the title of the round table being organised in Brussels on 10 September by the Association européenne des Chambres de commerce et d'industrie (Eurochambers). Arnaldo Abruzzini, Eurochambers General Secretary, and Birgit Arens (Eurochambers Women's Network) will present the seminar, to be attended by European Commission Director Generals Odile Quintin (DG Employment & Social Affairs) and Jean-Paul Mingasson (DG Enterprise) and the President of the European Parliament's Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities Committee, Anna Karamanou.
At the conference, the new Eurochambers Women's Network will be presented by Christoph Leitl, Eurochambers President, in the presence of the European Commissioner for Enterprise Policy, Erkki Liikanen, and Anna Karamanou, both of whom will address the conference.
