The French company SUEZ and its partner, the Spanish water distribution and treatment group AGBAR (of which SUEZ holds 28.5%), are to sell for the sum of EUR 514.5 million their waste collection and treatment activities in Spain and Portugal to FERROVIAL (construction and services). These activities come under a joint subsidiary held equally, CESPA (own funds of EUR 149 million for a turnover of EUR 590 million in 2002, with 12,000 employed).
