Brussels, 21/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given its approval to the acquisition of Quintiles Transnational Corp by One Equity Partners LLC, a group controlled by the American company Bank One Corp. Quintiles is an American company specialised in clinical studies on behalf of pharmaceutical laboratories. The operation does not pose a competition problem and has been authorised under simplified procedure.
