Brussels, 21/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 19 August, the Italian Presidency issued the following declaration on behalf of the European Union concerning the suicide attack in Jerusalem:
"The European Union is horrified by the brutal and evil act of terrorism which was perpetrated against the people of Israel yesterday evening in Jerusalem. The European Union expresses its deepest condolences and closest solidarity for the innocent victims, to their families and to the Government of Israel....
