Joint venture between MTU and RWE is cleared

Brussels, 21/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - As foreseen, the European Commission has authorised MTU Friedrichshafen, a subsidiary of the German-American group DaimlerChrysler, and RWE Fuel Cells to implement their plan to form a joint undertaking. Called MTU CFC Solutions GmbH, the new company will operate in the development, production and marketing of high temperature fuel cells.
