Global loan to SMEs and local authorities in Spanish Bask Country

Luxembourg, 11/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has just granted the Caja de Ahorros de Gipuzkoa y San Sebastian an overall loan of EUR 100 million to fund investment projects for small and medium sized enterprises by SMES or the local bodies in the Bask country. This loan is the first that the EIB has granted to this financial organisation whose HQ is in San Sebastian and which has 190 branches mainly in the province of Guipuzcoa.
