After brief plenary devoted to the institutions, Convention Members resume work within components - VGE announces supplementary plenary on part III of the Constitution, from 9 to 11 July, in order to complete work for 18 July - Convention Members pleased, saying the text can still be improved

Brussels, 11/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Convention began a "decisive phase" in its work, as Chairman Valéry Giscard d'Estaing noted in his opening remarks to the afternoon plenary session devoted to the new Praesidium text (55 pages long) on the institutions (see EUROPE of 7 June, p.4).
