Reports are adopted on broad economic policy guidelines and stock is taken of EU promise made in Monterrey

Brussels, 04/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday in Luxembourg, the Ecofin Council adopted two reports to be forwarded to the European Council of Thessaloniki (20 and 21 June) on the Broad Economic Policy Guidelines (BEPG) for the next three years (2003-2005). They are more specifically a "covering note" that summarises in a little over one page the political priorities adopted, for which the central theme is strengthening the EU economy, and a full report on BEPG for the Community and also...
