"Opens skies", "slots", maritime and road safety on agenda for Council on Thurday and Friday

Brussels, 04/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Fifteen are expected to give the Commission a mandate for negotiating an agreement for liberalising air transport with the USA ("Open Skies" agreement) and provide a green light for negotiating an agreement with other third countries (see following article). This will be the main subject at the Telecom and Transport Council on Thursday and Friday in Luxembourg. Following Parliament's vote on the subject, the Fifteen are also expected to...
