Richard Corbett suggests holding summits in Strasbourg and for EP to meet in Brussels

Amsterdam, 04/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - British Labour MEP Richard Corbett has suggested that the European Parliament no longer hold twelve sessions a year in Strasbourg, but meet in Brussels where it has all the facilities it requires. He suggests that European Councils be held in Strasbourg where the EP building (currently used for less than 50 days a year) could easily be adapted to hold summits.
