Computer piracy slightly declining-publishers seek harmonisation of rule for fighting against this phenomenon before new states arrive

Brussels, 04/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to figures published by Business Software Alliance (BSA) on Tuesday, the professional body for fighting against information technology piracy (22 members including Intel, Apple Computer and Microsoft), this practice is experiencing a very slight decline throughout the world with a 39% rate for last year compared to 40% for the year before.
