EP adds eleventh Strasbourg session for 2004

Strasbourg, 04/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - Following a recommendation from its Chairmen's Conference, the European Parliament decided in Strasbourg on Monday to add an eleventh plenary session of four days to its 2004 time-table. This session will be from 3 to 6 May in Strasbourg. Parliament rejected (176 in favour, 323 against and 12 abstentions) an amendment by Dutch Socialist Michiel van Hulten to reduce this session to three days (from 3 to 5 May).
