Brussels, 04/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - With the Convention putting the finishing touches to its work, the permanent Civil Society Forum has welcomed the progress achieved (notably the extension of codecision and qualified majority voting) but is appealing to Convention members to make an additional innovative effort. In the appeal, we read, "The Union must be founded on representative, participative and equal democracy, that allows citizens to choose their European government by their votes....
