14/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption of the report by Ioannis Marino (EPP, Greece), the European Parliament has approved the conclusion of a new fishing agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Kiribati. This agreement, on tuna, concerns 6 purse seine boats and 12 longliners. The total financial consideration is 2,288,000 euros over three years (2003 - 2005).
