Greek Presidency to attend Defence Summit on 29 April as observer - in support of concrete rather than "declaratory" summit

Brussels, 03/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - It is very likely that the Greek Presidency will attend the joint EU Defence Summit as an observer. The summit will be held on 29 April between France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. The Greek Presidency would be represented by George Papandreou, Greek Foreign Minister, it is affirmed by Belgian and Presidency diplomatic sources further to discussions held on Wednesday between Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt and Greek Prime Minister Costas...
