03/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - MEP Marco Cappato from the Lista Bonino participated at the thirteenth annual conference on "Computers, freedom and privacy" on Wednesday in New York (the main world conference on the theme of network freedom). The MEP spoke about the retention of personal data on the internet by the State. The weekly publication, European Voice, chose Marco Cappato because of his role as Parliament rapporteur on privacy in electronic communciation.
