Brussels, 03/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - As announced yesterday (p 6), on Wednesday Coreper decided to finalise the adoption of the regulation on setting up a transit system on 1 July 2003 to and from the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad by going through Lithuanian territory. These regulations should be adopted by the Council before 16 April, the date for signing Lithuania's accession to the EU, probably during the General Affairs Council of 14-15 April.
