Brussels, 11/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - After confirmation by INSEE, the French national statistics office, on Tuesday that the French public debt had, in 2002, reached the 3% threshold of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) fixed by the Stability Pact, excessive deficit procedure could be initiated against Paris in the near future.
