French company, VU - VIVENDI UNIVERSAL, is planning to sell 55% of its assets to the UGC cinema group for an amount of between EUR 400 and 500 million. The Verrecchia family controls the rest of the company's assets and also has pre-emptive right in any sell off of VU.
