11/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - A mistake slipped into yesterday's edition (p. 13) concerning the Eurobarometer survey on Energy: 59% of those questioned are in favour of the continuation of research in terms of nuclear fusion to confirm its potential. For the remainder, those questioned feel that research into nuclear energy should concentrate on increasing the safety of nuclear power stations (48%) and the management of radioactive waste (42%), third countries included.
