Brussels, 05/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - During the 'Learntec 2003' in Karlsruhe, international trade fair dedicated to eLearning inaugurated on 4 February in the presence of Commissioner Vivian Reding, the European Commission is launching a website dedicated to eLearning: http: //http://www.elearningeuropa.info . This website will present information on Community initiatives in many fields, such as the eLearning 2004-2006 programme in the process of being adopted, but also links with national, public and private initiatives, in this field. This new website targets a large audience, both as content users and providers, which will allow for the sharing of best practices in the use of new communication technologies within teaching and projects underway. It will also facilitate contact with their project leaders. The site will also contain information on the main events in Europe in the field of eLearning, as well as a glossary of terms used in this area.
