05/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission opened an investigation procedure into, on the one hand, a second rescue aid in favour of a German aeronautical manufacturer Fairchild Dornier and, on the other hand, concerning aids granted to the society of agricultural machines of Bavaria. However, it authorised a French aid system for the fight against water pollution and an investment aid that the British government granted to CLYDEBoyd in the maritime sector. Finally, in terms of competition, the Commission authorised the creation of an investment bank by IntesaBCI and Lazard. EUROPE will return to these decisions.
