Parliament calls on Convention to include a legal basis for European border guard corps in future Constitution

Strasbourg, 16/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption by 384 votes in favour, 111 against and 47 abstentions, the own initiative report by Austrian Christian Democrat Hubert Pirker on the integrated management of the external borders of the Member States of the European Union, the European Parliament approves the action plan adopted by the Council on 13 June 2002.
