Commission investigates joint-selling of media rights for English Premier League

Brussels, 23/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has sent a list of complaints to the Football Association's Premier League (FAPL) with regard to the joint- selling of media rights to English Premier League matches. It considers that this amounts to a price-fixing practice which could only be exempted under strict conditions.
