Brussels, 23/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Council on Refugees and Exiles (E.C.R.E.) has criticised the tenor of the political agreement reached at the Council on Thursday on the minimum conditions of reception for asylum-seekers. The Commission itself underlined in a press release that the Member States have considerably watered down the scope of the text which had been proposed to them.
