Europol/US agreement to be signed on Friday - numerous political agreements

Brussels, 19/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Justice and Home Affairs Council gave its go-ahead on Thursday to the agreement on exchanging personal data between Europol and the United States, to be signed on Friday in Copenhagen. Ministers also reached political agreements on amending the Europol Convention, on corruption in the private sector and on confiscation of the proceeds of crime.
