Commission continues infringement procedure against several Member States for failure to apply road safety rules

Brussels, 19/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Commission decided to continue with the infringement procedure it had initiated against several Member States for failure to implement European road safety rules. It mainly decided to take Ireland before the Court of Justice for failing to communicate national measures transposing European legislation on transportable pressure equipment as well as its adaptation to technical progress.
