Fifteen lead sector during Thursday's Council - France contributes to debate

Brussels, 02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Further to the letter from President Chirac calling for EU-scale solutions to be found to bring the telecommunications sector out of the doldrums (EUROPE of 28/29 October, p.11 and 1 November, p.9), the "Telecom" Council of 5 December will begin its work by tackling the issue in a formal way.
