Council to hold difficult debate on "tax package" and negotiations with Switzerland - other points on agenda

Brussels, 02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - "Tax package" and negotiations with Switzerland on savings taxes are likely to take up the lion's hare of debates at the ECOFIN Council on Tuesday in Brussels, under the chairmanship of the Danish Minister of Finance, Thor Pedersen. In an opener to the debates, this point could get taken up several times during the following bilateral discussions.
