Commission provides Euro 4 million in humanitarian aid to Ethiopia

Brussels, 29/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved a further €4 million in humanitarian aid for victims of drought in Ethiopia. This aid package comes through the Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) and will be targeted at the nomadic pastoralist population of the Afar and Somali regions and the resident population of the Oromiya Region: support to health services; Provision of supplementary and therapeutic feeding; provision of safe drinking water and sanitation to...
