29/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission announced that the inaugural meeting of the Management Committee of the European Agency for Maritime Safety would be held on 4 December. This first meeting will be attended by Loyola de Palacio and be held in the premises of the Commission in Brussels. Member States have still not agreed in which city the agency will have its headquarters.
