Slim majority of Member States do not wish early reform of milk and dairy products sector

Brussels, 08/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - During the Special Agriculture Committee held on Monday, eight Member States (Belgium, Finland, Austria, Luxembourg, Ireland, France, Greece and Portugal) stated they did not wish to bring reform of the common market organisation (CMO) for milk and dairy products foreseen in the Agenda 2000 (finalised in Berlin in 1999) forward by one year (i.e. from 2004).
