Monday's launch in Brussels of 6th framework programme

Brussels, 08/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 11 November, in Brussels, European Commissioner Philippe Busquin and Belgian Prime Minister, Guy Verhofstadt will open the largest research conference ever organised by the EU in Europe. This conference will last three days and will mark the launch of the new EU Research Framework Programme before the firs call for proposals which will be published soon (httm: //europa.eu.int/comm/research/conferences/2002/index-en.html).
