People's Mujahidin of Iran wants its name taking off EU list of terrorist organisations

Luxembourg, 16/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The "Organisations des Modjahedines du Peuple d'Iran" (OMPI - People's Mujahidin of Iran) is challenging the Council decision of 17 June 2002 that put it on the EU list of terrorist organisations. Inclusion on this list is a penalty which causes "considerable" harm, "if only because it is equiparated with terrorist organisations denounced by it", the OMPI explains.
