30/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has approved the report by German Social Democrat Evelyne Gebhardt on setting up a European legal training network. The report supports the French initiative, suggesting that it should not only cover criminal law, but also civil law. It also stresses extending mutual awareness of legal and judicial systems.
