Commission says it has to finish analysis of information about Spanish hydrological plan before it can consider infringement procedeedings requested by NGOs

Brussels, 20/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - An NGO coalition involved in the defence of the environment has called on the European Commission to launch immediate infringement proceedings against the Spanish authorities for the non-compliance of their national hydrological plan with the provisions of Community law. This demand by Birdlife International, Greenpeace and the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) forms part of their struggle in support of their NGO partners in Spain. The European...
