Chris Patten pleased with progress made in Bosnia-Herzegovina in context of Association and Stabilisation Process - Preparations for EU police mission well under way

Brussels, 20/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - During his visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, which began on Wednesday and ended on Friday, External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten felt that the road map for Bosnia-Herzegovina was "substantially fulfilled". The "specifications" to be met by Bosnia-Herzegovina in the context of the Association and Stabilisation Process is a first step towards concluding a stabilisation and association agreement with the EU.
