Mr Cohn-Bendit attacks president Chirac's Johannesburg speech

Strasbourg, 03/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - During a press conference in a backdrop to the European Parliament plenary in Strasbourg, Co-president of the Greens/EFA groups, Daniel Cohn Bendit described the speech by French President Chirac during the Johannesburg Summit as "philosophically chronic" and condemned the speech that portrayed France as the model of sustainable development, without mentioning any figures.
