In Vienna, Fischler explains that more than two-thirds of Austrian farmers will not be affected by aid modulation

Brussels, 03/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Explaining his proposals for the mid-term review of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in Vienna on Monday, Commissioner Franz Fischler said that with the system of excluded aid (to be set at EUR 5000), more than two-thirds of farms in Austria will not be affected by direct aid modulation. He explained the various advantages of the reform that could be beneficial to his country's farmers and promised that the EU would provide aid for the flood victims...
