Brussels, 02/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission presented four Strategy Papers for Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. It reaffirmed its "confidence and commitment to Mercosur". The total indicative amount of aid for the Mercosur countries during the period 2002-2006 is EUR 200 million, including aid already programmed.
