02/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - the Commission has granted clearance by simplified procedure of the Finnish company, Kone Corporation's acquistion of Partek Corporation, another Finnish company. Kone Corporation is active in the development, manufacture, installation and maintenance of machines for elevators and escalators. Partek Corporation manufacture and sale of load and container handling machines for forestry, tractors and lorries.
