Norwegian metal work group ELKEM has put in an offer of 3.5 bn Swedish Crowns for a 54.2% stake of Swedish aluminium manufacturers, SAPA, which it still does not have. ELKEM, currently controls 45% of SAPA, and is selling shares for 175 Crowns each.
