Aid of EUR 329 million for trans-national co-operation in North West Europe

Brussels, 02/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission approved an aid programme for the North West of Europe. This INTERREG III Community Initiative programme covers a period until 2006 and provides about Euro 329 million in financial support from the European Union. It concerns transnational co-operation between Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France in the European Union and includes Switzerland as an external partner....
