02/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - After the annual meeting, in Sigriswill (Switzerland), of the Church and Society Commission of the Conference of European Churches, Keith Jenkins, its Director, mainly stressed that the new treaty or constitutional text arising from the European Convention should incorporate the right to a system of structured consultation of churches on EU policy, even if Church-State relations remain under the individual Member States.
