Infringement procedures to 11 Member States for failure to recognise professional qualifications

Brussels, 18/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday the European Commission decided to send reasoned opinions to eleven Member States for having failed to communicate national transposition measures for the directive on the recognition of professional qualifications in certain industrial, commercial and craft activities. These countries include Germany, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Finland and the United Kingdom. Directive 1999/42/European...
